THEN and NOW...

Our History...

In 1991, with years of design experience between them, Bill and Judy Purple started Purple Graphic Design in South Bend, Indiana. Together since 1981, they built a small but successful business. Judy’s computer graphics skills and Bill’s background in exhibit design made for a perfect partnership. In 1996 they relocated to the Gulf Coast of Florida and continued working for a few Hoosier clients while getting to know the area and expanding their client list.

Remembering Bill...

On September 9, 2014, Bill Purple unexpectedly passed away, leaving everyone in shock. Known for his kind manner, easy-going attitude and often-irreverent sense of humor, Bill was a one-of-a-kind character. On October 19, 2014, local family, friends and clients gathered to remember him at the Outlook Pub. Over Memorial Day Weekend, 2015, the Purple family hosted a Celebration of Life at Big Meadows Lodge on Virginia’s Skyline Drive, one of Bill’s favorite places.

Moving Forward...

Purple Graphic Design continues to offer an extensive range of graphic design services. Judy Purple is now operating the business alone, though she still uses “we” when referring to the business she and Bill built together.
